Numerous Training Options Available
All professional development offerings at Americo are designed to help employees be successful at their position while also helping them grow in their career. Education offerings are designed to deal with specific issues that associates are currently experiencing or may encounter in the future. The goal is for associates to leave a training class with solutions that they can implement immediately and tools to have them better prepared for the future.
Training is offered to all associates in the following formats: instructor-led classroom style for mixed audiences, one-on-one discussions, web-based video learning, small-group discussion and sessions per department. Additionally, managementlevel training is provided to help our leadership group grow the unique skill-sets they need to help their associates reach their fullest potential.
Americo offers LOMA (Life Office Management Association) training to each of its part-time and full-time associates. LOMA is a globally recognized, third-party education source of insurance based training and information. Our Training department administers this program through a web-based learning system and by doing so gives employees additional access to training on the following topics: insurance, accounting, marketing, information systems, finance, law, management and computers.
Leadership Development Program
Americo offers the ASPiRE program which was developed by members of our Training, Human Resources and Management teams to give employees at the associate level the opportunity to learn management level skills. By exposing employees to this information early on, they'll have the experience they need to be prepared to step into a leadership role when the opportunity presents itself.
The program is filled with management level courses, in additional to other hands-on experiences and reading material that the associates discuss with their mentor who has been assigned to them for the duration of the program.
