Compliance

The Compliance Department’s responsibilities include completing requests from regulatory agencies, processing Customer or client complaints, OFAC process, new agent funding review, MGA/Lloyds relationship maintenance, and more. Additionally, Compliance assists in any regulatory communication(s) i.e., state banking or insurance departments or law enforcement.

Finance

The Finance Department encompasses the Accounts Receivable Team and Accounting. This department manages the organizations money through planning, organizing, accounting for, and controlling the company's finances.

Human Resources

Human Resources acts as a partner to support the business. The department is administering and managing benefits, compensation, talent acquisition, Associate engagement, and performance management.

Internal Audit

The Internal Audit team continuously reviews the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. They provide an unbiased assessment of the operations of IPFS.

IT

The IT, or Information Technology team establishes, monitors, and maintains information technology systems and services. 

Legal

Adopting rules and regulations, the Legal Department works with the rest of the departments to ensure the company objectives and tasks are abiding by these rules and regulations. They safeguard the interest of the business in relation to internal or external parties. Duties include developing resolutions, consulting and advising departments on contracts and agreements, participating in decision-making, and more.

Marketing

Oversees advertising, publications, events and conventions, the Marketing department promotes IPFS and supports internal teams in communication efforts. They are responsible for the IPFS brand and visual presence both internally, and externally.

Operations

IPFS branches consist of 24 branch offices including Puerto Rico. Branch offices are individual profit centers that provide management, underwriting and service for their assigned business. They are jointly responsible with our Sales Department for achieving the retention, penetration and growth goals established by the company.  A typical branch office is comprised of a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, as well as Associates in Collection, Account Executive, Acceptance and Customer Service positions. Each branch is also supported by one or more Sales Executive(s) all dedicated to building and enhancing Program Entity relationships in a particular territory.

Sales

The Sales Team's primary goal is to expand our agency base and retain existing customers. Other responsibilities include; cold calling, identifying prospects, closing sales, on-boarding agents and training new customers.

Training

The Training team develops material to assist Associates in using modern techniques, tools, strategies, and materials to successfully do their jobs.
